Course description: "This course will help students develop expertise in accessibility principles, institutional processes, and legal considerations. The course explores federal accessibility regulations, common practices for implementing accessibility, and solutions to common challenges of accessibility implementation." Reflection: At the end of this course, students will be able to:
  • Identify basic components of technology relating to accessibility principles.
  • Determine learning experience materials to meet accessibility standards
  • Analyze institutional accessibility practices in order to address challenges in accessibility implementation
  • Apply legal considerations to the implementation of learning experiences
  • Implement processes to enhance accessibility in learning experiences
