Evaluation and Assessment Strategy
Course description: "Course will focus on the effective course/program evaluation and assessment methods, theories, and applications in instructional design and technology." IDT5200 at Trevecca Nazarene University
Instructor: Dr. Doug Renfro
Reflection: This course aimed to clarify how competencies and outcomes influence instructional design and assessments at different levels: institutional, program, and course. This process required distinguishing between various theories, principles, and best practices for creating meaningful evaluations and immersive learning experiences. Additionally, I assessed the potential benefits and obstacles of using learning analytics in evidence-based learning and design.
The next stage of this course involved a thorough assessment of an assessment design plan, which encompassed the following components:

The next stage of this course involved a thorough assessment of an assessment design plan, which encompassed the following components:
- The relationship between outcomes, assessment, and learning from a design standpoint.
- The origins and chances for data analysis to enhance learning and guide design decisions.
- The possibilities and difficulties of executing an assessment design plan in a global setting.
